Pichkari is the Indian word for the water gun used at Holi, and it long predates the plastic version — the traditional form was a brass syringe. What we make is the modern descendant: moulded pressure water guns across a wide range of sizes, from a pocket toy to a two-handed pump.
The category sells hardest in the six weeks before Holi and then again through the hot months, and it is the part of the range that carries most easily into export markets, because water play is not tied to a festival anywhere else.

The pichkari is old. The traditional object was a brass or bamboo syringe, drawn and pushed by hand, and it appears in Holi painting centuries before plastic existed. The mechanism has not really changed; the material and the price have.
Moulding is what turned it from a household object into a product sold by the crate, and it is why a manufacturer that makes both the colour and the plastics ends up making both halves of the festival.
Water guns are injection-moulded for solid parts and blow-moulded for the hollow bodies and reservoirs, then assembled, checked and packed on the same site. Doing both moulding types in one plant is what allows a design with a large reservoir and a fine mechanism to be made as one product rather than sourced in halves.
Every raw material is tested before it enters the process, and quality control runs during the production run rather than as a single inspection at the end.
Water guns sold as toys have to meet the toy safety standard of the destination market. Ours are manufactured to ASTM and EN-71, the US and European standards, and certificates are issued per shipment on request.
Buyers importing into a market with its own scheme should raise it at enquiry rather than after production. Where a standard requires a specific test house or a specific mark, that is a decision to make before tooling runs, not after a container is packed.
